EN^thEnergy, LLC is rooted in a tradition of energy management innovation. Founder John M. Duff, MS, CEM, and the company’s engineering team performed hundreds of big building energy audits and assessments. ENthEnergy’s inventive analytical processes earned a contract from a large regional utility in 2006, and the energy audits were completed in early 2008.  In the wake of this project, EnergyPlanIT was born.

It was clear, following the lack of implementation by those utility customers and many others before them, that the era of the expensive, stand-alone energy audit had run its course. What people needed was something more sustainable. EN^thEnergy then transformed its traditional engineering expertise and analysis techniques into EnergyPlanIT: hosted software services that are faster, more accurate, less costly and appropriate for any organization that owns or operates big buildings.
